Brigham City and the Logan Temple
On Saturday, May 1st, we drove up to Brigham City and Logan. I heard from one of my friends about a lady who sells perennials from her home in Brigham City. She and her husband grow and overwinter the perennials in Bear Lake, so they are very hardy. Since I love gardening and flowers, of course I wanted to go check it out! We decided to make a day of it and go see the Logan Temple while we were up that way. It was raining almost all the way to Brigham City. We were fortunate to have it clear up while we were outside, looking at and purchasing some plants. Before we headed up to Logan, we stopped and had lunch at Maddox. On our way to Logan, it started raining and snowing very hard. It was disappointing because we could not get out and roam the Temple grounds. But my girls loved seeing the Logan Temple! What a beautiful Temple and made even more special as I reminded my girls that their Great Granddaddy and Great Grandmommy Wilkerson were sealed there on July 27, 1939! We were able to take pictures from the car and I got out (with my umbrella) and took some pictures. We stopped in Ogden on the way home and visited my Grandpa and Grandma Shaw's graves. It was a fun day in spite of the rain and snow!

I love the Logan Temple! When Eric and Angela lived there I attended an endowment session. Sounds like a nice trip!
I love that Temple. Nathan used to be an ordinace worker there when he attended USU. Someday I hope to attend a session there.
I must admit those older temples are sure beautiful!! Sounds like a fun trip.
Beautiful pictures despite the yucky weather!
